$199.00

Product Description

  • On-Demand: Available August 12

LENGTH: One hour

Be sure you are in compliance with ISO 9001's competence requirements and learn ISO 9001:2015's organizational knowledge requirements.

The competence requirement has existed in ISO 9001 since the beginning. It has evolved over the years as organizations have evolved and change the way they operate and use resources.

Organizations frequently use temporary employees and at the same time may have limited resources to train these resources. Some of the changes in ISO 9001:2015 incorporate text that emphasizes that competence can be accomplished in methods other than training. While not a requirement of ISO 9001, it's possible to use the competence requirements to manage training costs within an organization, which provides the opportunity for an organization to add value through its quality management system.

This one-hour webinar will also review ISO 9001:2015's new requirement in clause 7.1.6, Organizational knowledge. The intent of this requirement could be missed if an organization believes that competence and organizational knowledge are the same thing.

The session will also include a discussion on ISO 9001:2015's requirements for clause 7.3, Awareness.

This course breaks down the ISO requirements in common-sense terms that can be applied to any business regardless of its size or the product it provides or service it delivers.
