JOHN DAHLGREN





John Dahlgren has joined Paton Professional as a Director of Training and serves Paton to develop and manage the training division and is also a trainer and subject matter expert in medical device quality systems and Lean Enterprise development.

As a qualified lead auditor of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 international quality systems, John has many years of experience auditing a variety of organizations to quality standards. As a former director of regulatory affairs and quality systems, John has expertise in US FDA regulations, FDA QSR (21 CFR 820), EU Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, and Health Canada CMDR.

John is a 20-year practitioner of continuous improvement systems, total quality management, and lean. John has been a lean champion in a variety of manufacturing and distribution environments and has successfully implemented a wide variety of lean tools, from 5S to kanban scheduling.

In addition to his continuous improvement and lean skills, John is also a part-time college lecturer and instructor and serves as associate and adjunct faculty for Butte Community College and CSU Chico, respectively. John is a member of ASQ, AAMI, RAPS and SME. He has more than 20 years of industrial and business experience in manufacturing, engineering services, and consulting.
