This 2-day course is beneficial for anyone in a management, professional, or technical position who wants to achieve maximum benefits from internal or supplier audits.

Dennis Arter is the author of the book that inspired this course, and he’s known in the quality industry as “The Audit Guy.” Dennis will lead you through his course as though you have no previous knowledge of auditing—you’ll gain maximum results without a requirement for previous knowledge.

A key benefit of this course is that it’s designed so that your auditing lessons are applicable to any management system(s) that your organization employs, including ISO 9001, FDA, military, automotive and more.

Dennis will take you, step by step, through the process of an effective quality audit. Following lecture segments, you’ll break into team workshops so you’ll have an opportunity to practice the techniques just presented. In addition, you’ll be given a simulated internal audit example that will serve as a memorable case study you can recall later as a reference.

Upon completion of this course, you’ll understand the key differences between inspection, compliance, and performance audits. You’ll leave this course with knowledge and information that will take you beyond typical third-party registration auditing to emphasize the benefits to the organization.

Seven Reasons You Should Attend—You'll Learn to:

  1. Achieve maximum benefits from internal or supplier audits—even if you have no prior auditing experience.
  2. Implement the 9 steps you should follow to prepare for an effective audit.
  3. Discover the key differences between inspection, compliance, and performance audits.
  4. Optimize quality audits for any management system used by your organization— not just ISO 9001:2000.
  5. Uncover ways for a performance audit to deliver value-added benefits to your organization.
  6. Exceed the goal of meeting standards requirements.
  7. Move beyond auditing for compliance’s sake: Use audit results to improve your business practices.
