SUMMARY

To be successful, problem solving initiatives require the same commitment to planning as any other project. In fact, it’s appropriate to think of them as project plans. Without good planning the output of corrective actions are frequently—and predictably—less than stellar. Often, they end up exacerbating the existing problem.

Corrective action plans carry the same mandate to consider necessary resources, availability of competent people, constraints and urgency. It’s essential to ensure that all affected functions are included and their concerns properly addressed.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
In this webinar you will learn how to:
  • Develop the corrective action plan
  • Determine what to do
  • Decide who should be involved
  • Select documentation to be revised
  • Identify required resources
  • Calculate time for tasks and ultimate completion date
  • Assign effectiveness metrics
  • Ensure authorizations and sign-offs are handled
